Erik applied for a TV broadcasting license, and after nine months of preparation, the Gospel Channel went on the air on July 28, 1992. From its humble beginnings as a 10-watt television transmitter in Iceland, Gospel Channel has now passed its silver jubilee and reaches millions of homes throughout Europe & Scandinavia via broadband cable, satellite television, IPTV & internet streaming.
